Postage and packing costs

Postage and packing costs will be added to the cost of your order and will depend on the total cost of the items you order and, where delivery options are provided, the option you choose. The postage and packing charge you will pay will be displayed on screen before you confirm your order to us. Where multiple items are included in one order, we may despatch the items separately, in which case, you will still only be charged one postage and packing charge.

  • Standard postage and packing on all orders up to £35 - Just £1.00 for small items or £3.30 for larger!
  • Next Day Delivery available on certain lines where highlighted - £5.99
  • On all orders over £35 (Includes the cost payable for any prescriptions in the same order) - FREE standard postage and packaging
  • Private prescription medicines are delivered through a tracked service that will require a doorstep signature - £3.95 (all private prescription items have a minimum order value of £5.55)
  • NHS prescription medicines - FREE

Standard delivery

Orders are sent by Royal Mail 1st Class post. Your parcel may require a signature.

95% of orders are despatched within 1 working day and normally delivered to your chosen address within 3 working days.

Next Day Delivery

Next Day Delivery will cost £5.99 and will only be offered if all items in your basket are available for Next Day delivery. Orders placed before 4pm Mon-Fri will be delivered Next Day, orders after 4pm Mon-Fri will be delivered the following working day.

Please note Next Day Delivery is only available to mainland UK.

Delivery times for medicines sent by post

All prescription medicines are sent through a tracked service that will require a doorstep signature.

Prescription items will only be despatched once we have received your paper prescription.

Delivery of orders

Excluding customers that have selected the next day delivery option, 95% of orders are despatched within 1 working day to the address provided by you in your order. Delivery timescales are estimates only. If you do not receive your order within 10 days of us confirming your order please notify us and we will investigate the non-delivery.

Returns

If you would like to return an item please contact us to obtain a RMA number. Once you have an RMA number you can attach this to the paperwork and return the item to the below address, providing it meets the following criteria:

Goods must be returned as sold, IE in the original packaging with all components and accessories. Goods must be complete, unused, and in NEW condition (eg if you have opened the box to examine the product it must have been done so without damaging the box and packaging or damaging the product in any way) and must be re-packaged as received.

Goods must be returned to our Returns Department within 7 days from authorisation. We are unable to accept returns of un-wanted and non-faulty items after the 7 days.

Any free gifts, or bundled items delivered with the products must also be returned.

In the event of an authorised return without the original packaging, Browns Pharmacy reserves the right to apply a re-stocking fee.

Please contact us to arrange sending items back to us.

Please note you must organise the return of unwanted items at your expense. Returns cannot be accepted without prior authorisation and a returns authorisation number.

What is an RMA number and how do I get one?

An RMA (Return Merchandise Authorisation) Number is a number that controls and regulates the flow of customer returns to give a quicker and more accurate service to our customers and is valid for 7 days. It is essential to obtain one prior to sending back any goods purchased from us.

We regret that items returned to us without a valid RMA number will not be processed and may become lost within the system. Our customer Services team will issue you with an RMA number
